Mayor again
by the staff of the Darlington, Aycliffe and Sedgefield Advertiser
A RETIRED teacher has been appointed mayor in his adopted town for the second time.
Coun Dudley Waters, above, took over the post of Mayor of Sedgefield from Coun Maxine Robinson. It is his second term as mayor, having held office in 1991, four years after first joining Sedgefield Town Council.
During his year as mayor, Coun Waters, originally from Kent, will support Alzheimer's Research and local groups with his charity campaign.
