Artists born and raised in the region are holding an exhibition in September.
Castle Howard, near Malton, will provide the backdrop for the event, which has been organised to raise funds for a cancer charity.
The work of more than 30 painters, sculptors and photographers, who are either based in North Yorkshire or were brought up in the county, will feature in the exhibition.
Simon Howard said: "I am delighted that Castle Howard is to host such an innovative charity event.
"Yorkshire once again leads the field in terms of contemporary art, and there could be no finer backdrop than Castle Howard's long gallery to display our county's current crop of diverse artistic talents."
Proceeds from the event will go towards an appeal launched by York Against Cancer to pay for transport for cancer patients.
The charity is hoping the exhibition will become a regular event.
York sculptor Sally Arnup visited Castle Howard to show her latest work and help launch the event.
There will be a black tie private viewing on September 1 followed by a public opening.
