VISITORS to a Teesside museum were able to do their bit to help local wildlife when they created attractive new homes for birds.
Sunday's craft session, at Preston Hall Museum, provided the opportunity to build nesting boxes for bats as well as for common garden birds.
The event was organised by Stockton Borough Council's parks and countryside team as part of National Nest Box Week.
Councillor Jean O'Donnell, the cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture, said: "This session gave people the opportunity to help local wildlife."
