The Northern Echo has launched a bookshop to keep you in touch with the latest publications. Readers can simply pick up the phone to order and the book will be delivered to your door. You will save yourself a trip into town if you come across a particularly interesting feature or review about a new book or local author. The bookshop is run by a team of experts who have worked in book publishing for more than 25 years, and can help you with any queries about your order. Most of the books featured on The Northern Echo's book page each week will be available for immediate delivery. The cost of postage and packing is just £1 for paperbacks, £1.50 for hardbacks. Every effort will be made to get the order to you within a few days. There is a wrapping service and books can be posted to friends and family. The bookshop is open Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 5.30pm, and there is an answer machine for out-of-hours. Readers will also be able to take advantage of reductions on some books and signed book offers. To place your order ring us on 0800 0150552.
