of turbines grows, so does the debate. There seems to be no middle
ground and wind farms bring out strong opinions from supporters and

| The number of wind farms is expected to increase
in coming years because Prime Minister Tony Blair wants to see environmental
protection forming a plank of Labour's manifesto for the election
expected next May. This manifesto is expected to include a firm pledge
to boost renewable energy and build more wind farms. |
