BATES Marjorie (nee Wilson), of Marwood, Barnard Castle, died peacefully at home on May 22 after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. FAGAN On Tuesday, May 20, 2008, peacefully after a short illness, in Clifton Hospital, Lytham. Only one month ago Lily celebrated her 100th birthday in Victoria Hospital, after suffering a fall (as reported in The Northern Echo, April 24 and Lytham-St. Annes Express). Asked how it felt to turn 100, she replied 'I feel fine, how do I look?' Lily was due to return to the care home in St. Annes on May 20 but had a fatal setback the previous evening and passed away the following day. Our memories will never fade, miss you Mum. All our love Derek and Barbara, son and his wife. Lisa and Richard, granddaughter and her husband. Olivia and Georgia, great grandchidren.
