BARRASS (Sherburn Hill) June 24 (peacefully, after a long illness). Elizabeth Ann (Betty), aged 82 years. Loving wife of Joe, a dear mam of Elizabeth and the late Joan, mother-in-law of Bob, also a treasured grandma of Mark, Louise and Michael. HOLMBERG Susan Patricia, died Sunday June 22, 2008 at 2.30 a.m. peacefully at St. Cuthbert's Hospice, Durham, after a long battle with Cancer. Her children and sister wish to acknowledge the wonderful care and support that Susan received throughout the years and particularly in the last month. The nurses and staff at Dryburn Hospital on Ward 5 who were very caring with specific thanks to Dr. Taylor and also thanks to everyone at Gilesgate Medical Centre. Susan received outstanding care and warmth at St. Cuthbert's Hospice and her family want to express their overwhelming thanks and appreciation to the lovely nurses and staff there. With specific thanks to Dr. Crack, Eleanor, Julia and Lindsey for their above and beyond kindness at the end.
