Hello, I have read the advice section so as not to waste yout ime but the symptoms of my cat are different. He has started behaving oddly in the evenings, unsettled, running off as if had a fright, hot and unsteady on back legs. Seems alarmed and "nervy" . His eyes are fine , no flickering and he has not gone in circles. He had Baytril inj. for previous two nights and Marbocyl inj. tonight. Vet mentioned meningitis / otitis interna - he has been shaking his head and scratching his ears a wee bit. Has a bit of wax but vet didn't treat ears. I rescued him , he has has a hard life, is thin and on roughly nine Felimasole a week, blood sample yest only shoed elevated ALT, kidney readings and glucose fine.
Please could you help, I am so distressed seeing him like this.
Thank you very much.

Well, angela, the side effects of the thyroid drugs could fully explain your cat's symptoms. they are pretty rare-side effects that is-but often cause
nervous signs. If I get a case like this, then I stop the drugs for one week, then re-assess
the case. You did not say how long the cat has been on the pills- most odd reactions
happen within the first few weeks. Let me know the outcome?
