In the last few weeks my dog has been waking me up in the early hours of the morning to be sick. It started New Year's Eve and hasn't stopped. It is not every night and sometimes it is just to go pee. He is bright, healthy looking, eating & drinking and he's going to the toilet fine. He has always been fed on Beta chicken & rice. His vomiting is just like stomach acid liquid. Not food unless he eats the grass in the garden then that comes back up also. Then after a few minutes of being sick he goes back to bed fine and it doesn't happen until the next day morning.

Overnight vomiting in a dog of your age could be a variety of things. The problem can be with diet/liver/kidney/stomach infection, and so on! Probably first off I would get an appointment with your vet, tell them that ther is this repeated nightly vomiting. They may want a urine sample, or they may want to see the dog for a blood test. Sometimes it can be something very simple, but the best is often to get things checked over - let me know what happens?
