I qualified as a vet from Edinburgh University in June 1994, and worked in mixed practice for three and a half years before joining this practice in November 1997.
In July 1999 I became a partner in the practice.
I am currently studying towards my certificate in Small Animal Surgery.
My main interest is in orthopaedics and complex soft tissue surgery.
I am also interested in improving the treatment and welfare of smaller pets, especially rabbits, and I have produced a practice information leaflet on this topic to help owners care more effectively for their pets.
In my spare time I spend time working on my house and garden and exercising my two Labradors.
