Paul J. Wilson graduated as a vet in 1988 from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia and emigrated to the UK in January, 1990.
He worked throughout the country as a locum vet for more than years
before purchasing the surgery on Tenters Street in Bishop Auckland
in 1993.
The practice has developed since then and now includes an office
on Neville Parade in Newton Aycliffe.
It is run with six other vets. The practice does not specialise
but treats all normal companion animals with a full range of medical
and surgical treatments.
They will treat exotic pets for emergency treatment but do not
specialise in them.
They have recently moved into the old Post Office premises opposite the previous surgery on Tenters Street and provide the highest level of facilities as a full veterinary hospital. They now have a large car park available to all their customers.
