Dimi: draw was a fair resultBy Nick LoughlinWITH three homes games remaining, Dimi Konstantopoulos cannot underestimate their importance. After Saturday's draw at Swindon dropped Hartlepool United into the bottom four, Pool go to Colchester tomorrow before Bristol City visit Victoria Park on Saturday. They did Pool a favour at the weekend by thumping Walsall and the big Greek, who saved a first-half stoppage time penalty at the County Ground, admitted: "It looked like a draw was a fair result on Saturday and both teams will think they could have won. "I guess it's better to take a point from a team in a similar position to us and it keeps them below us. "We deserved the lead and were much better in the first half, but we didn't play as well in the second half. "We had a spell when we had something like five corners in a row, but I think the way we are at the moment this will be two points dropped because we need every point we play for. "But we got a point and our home games are going to be vital for us. We have three left and they are going to be very big games for us. They will be very important. "Anyone in this division can beat anyone and we have to think of that on Tuesday because that is another very important game.'' Konstantopoulos kept out Jamie Cureton's penalty and added: "I guessed the right side, but it wasn't the best penalty. I thought he would put it to the other side, the way he shaped his body, he kind of stopped on his run up and put it in a good place for me - but I never thanked him for it! "I've said before that no-one really expects the goalkeeper to do something. No-one will blame you if you concede a goal, but if you save it then you are the hero. "It was an important time and a big boost for us, but we said at half-time that we had to carry on in the second-half, but it didn't happen.'' Stephenson, meanwhile, has not ruled out Joel Porter tomorrow. He suffered an injury in the draw with Oldham ten days ago and it was feared he could be out for at least a fortnight.
